Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the Hairora app (“Hairora”, “we”) collects, why, and the choices you have. In short: we use your photo only to create the hairstyle looks you ask for, we never use it to train AI, and we delete it automatically after 30 days.

What we collect

• Your photo: the selfie or gallery photo you choose. Before upload the app crops it, resizes it and removes metadata such as location; our server re-encodes it again.
• Face analysis results: the face shape and the face box computed on your phone. The raw face data never leaves your device; only the result (for example “oval”) is saved to your profile.
• Generated looks: the images created for you, and which ones you save to your lookbook.
• Account data: a random account ID and a device identifier (used so free credits are given once per device). If you sign in with Google or Apple: your name, email and profile picture from that provider.
• Credits and purchases: your credit balance and history, and purchase events from Google Play / the App Store via our payment processor RevenueCat. We never receive your card details.
• Notification token: if you allow notifications, a token so we can tell you when a look is ready.
• Advertising: if you don’t have Hairora Plus, Google AdMob may show ads and, for rewarded videos, tells our server that you completed a video so we can add your credit. AdMob may use your device’s advertising ID as described in Google’s policies.

How we use it

• To create, store and show your hairstyle and colour looks.
• To recommend styles for your face shape and hair texture.
• To manage credits, purchases, refunds and subscriptions.
• To send the notifications you allowed.
• To prevent abuse (for example repeated free credits) and keep the service secure.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your photos to train AI models.

Who processes it

• Google Gemini API: receives your photo and the style description to generate each look.
• Google Firebase: delivers push notifications.
• Google AdMob: serves ads to users without Hairora Plus.
• RevenueCat, Google Play and the App Store: handle purchases and subscriptions.
• Our hosting provider stores the server and database.

How long we keep it

• Photos are deleted automatically 30 days after upload.
• Looks and account data are kept until you delete them or your account.
• Purchase records are kept as long as required for accounting and tax law.

Your choices and rights

• Delete everything: Profile → “Delete all my data” permanently deletes your photos, looks and account immediately. No longer have the app? Use the account deletion page.
• You can delete individual photos, remove looks from your lookbook, and turn notifications off in your phone settings.
• Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or India’s DPDP Act), you may request access to or correction of your data by emailing us.

Children

Hairora is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
